Jamie Foxx is making history, the multi-talented 51-year-old has landed the lead in the first Pixar Black film, Soul. Debuting in June 2020, the film introduces a middle school band teacher and jazz musician, Joe Gardner, who dies just after landing a big gig, at a jazz club.
When he dies, the musician is transported to “You Seminar,” a place where your soul goes to wait on a new body. There he meets another soul played by Tina Fey and the two try to get Joe back to Earth before it’s too late.
