Social Media Commentary Hot Takes: Boosie, Commissioner Omari Hardy, and IG Live Concerts
That Rona got folks out her doing some strange things for a piece of change. Controversial rapper, Boosie challenged women to share their tig ole bitties and other lady parts for $1000. Once done, he then promised to cash app them only $25.
Obviously, those ladies didn’t get the memo from the City Girl’s , that the cat is in a drought and prices of have gone up! In one of the videos there were children present. Seriously though, I know quarantining isn’t fun, but don’t let these rappers treat you like a CZ when you’re a diamond! Don’t be around here catching child porn possession charges for getting freaky on the camera with children present.
Commissioner Omari Hardy had Twitter on fire after he passionately pleaded for residents impacted by utility disconnections during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
“This is a banana republic, is what you’re turning this place into with your so-called leadership,”
He singled out Mayor Pam Triolo at a meeting of the city commission on Thursday specifically.
“We should have been talking about this last week. We cut off people’s utilities this week and made them pay what could have been their last check to us to turn their lights on in a global health pandemic!”
Mr. Hardy made a great point about the Mayor looking for votes every two years, but seems unwilling to do right by voters when its most needed. This Coronavirus Pandemic is bringing out the worse in everyone, especially politicians. Florida really has a special case of stupid! After deciding to not close beaches prior to spring break, college students in the sunshine state are now testing positive for the virus.
If this pandemic does not make it crystal clear why Americans should fight for a government that represents them, then I don’t know what else will. Continuously having to pay into a system with little representation makes absolutely no sense.
Overnight billions can be used to bailout corporations and prop up the financial system. Yet, the largest group of financial contributors (U. S. citizens) to the Federal Government, have to wait on approval by the House and Senate and the President’s signature for a law to permit assistance? Don’t even get me started on some of the Coronavirus stimulus the bills that have been proposed by some politicians.
Let them hear you at the ballot box!
Celebrities such as John Legend, Debbie Allen, Erykah Badu, and Lizzo have been entertaining virtually and fans can’t get enough. If you can’t go to the fun, bring the fun to you. At least that seems to be message.
This quarantine has not been kind to entertainers . A great portion of their income is derived from performances which are being postponed or cancelled altogether. Now granted, they aren’t charging for the interaction. However its still an outlet to create and release some stress.
