Rihanna darn near crashed the internet with the release of her new beauty line, Fenty Beauty. The optics are glamorous and dare I not say flawless. Five star reviews on the Fenty Beauty Facebook page are pouring  in by the boat load.

Rihanna, while known for  her talent in the music industry is as equally an astute business woman. From her collaboration with Puma which spawned a ton of copy cats to her now her kick butt beauty line, Rihanna is defiantly serious about her coins. The Fenty Beauty line boats an industry shattering 40 shades of foundation. Yeah, 40!  Her product line includes, lip glosses, foundations, primers, highlighters, concealers, contours, blotters, brushes and tools. Prices are in line with what you would expect to pay for a solid brand. Foundations start at $34. As a dark-skinned woman I can truly appreciate the length that her brand went to, in order to be as inclusive as possible.

So, what prompted Rihanna to create her beauty line?  According to the Fenty Beauty,  Rihanna was inspired to create Fenty Beauty after years of experimenting with the best-of-the-best in beauty—and still seeing a void in the industry for products that performed across all skin types and tones. She launched a makeup line “so that women everywhere would be included,” focusing on a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, creating formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades.
